At Gucci
A buyer once told me that he had gone to a Gucci show and all the people there were so good-looking it made him mad.

The light was just so amazing right before the Prada show, plus everyone was dressed in their Sunday best, so here are a few more shots I really love.

I had seen Pringle of Scotland on men.style.com last season and was really impressed, so I wanted to make sure to pop in while I was in Milan. It was worth the time. Of course, I got all caught up in looking at the collection and forgot to take more photos before I was off to Valentino.
Actually, as I write this, I've just returned from Valentino, and what a crowd! Valentino is another designer that surrounds himself with really chic peopleI can't wait to post the shots tomorrow.

Everyone's been making a big deal about how cutting edge Thom Browne's collection is, but to me it's a more exaggerated version of what the Italians have been doing for years. Compared to this look, a Thom jacket is slightly shorter, slightly tighter, and the pants are slightly shorterbut only slightly. I think the common denominator is that both the Italians and Thom have both pulled so heavily from Brooks Brothers of the fifties. So much so that many Italianslike the guy at Brunello as well as Browne himselfnever button their Brooks-inspired button-down shirts.

The shirt is nice, the jeans are good, but who can get past the hairperfecto! This has got to be the only age where you can wear your hair like that and totally get away with it.

In the mornings here in Milan I could take this shot a thousand times over. You'd think that with seemingly everyone on bicycles and motorcycles, there would be at least one taxi free to get me to the Gucci show on time.

Tie as pocket square.

The drivers that take editors from show to show have a very specific look in Milan. I haven't figured out all the specifics, but the very large tie knot is the first place to start.
Visited Brunello Cuncinelli's showroom while here in Milan. Not only is the collection absolutely elegant but the people he surrounds himself with are extremely chic.
Brunello himself.
I really debated if I should share this or keep it to myself.
Gianni Agnelli lives on in the Sartorialists of Milan.

Smoking while biking while looking fabulous.
