The first thing my eye goes to on these two looks is the perfect amount of shirt cuff showing with the sweater. It has to be about three quarters of an inch. Guys make a big deal about how much cuff to show with a suit, but as we dress more casually, I think the cuff/sweater ratio should get more recognition.

As a side note to store salespeople:
When I come to your store to buy a sweater, this is how I want it to fit. I'm tired of arguing with you that I'm not buying the right size. If I wanted my sweaters any larger, I would belt them and wear them as a dress, and neither of us wants that.
