A: Yes. These pants aren’t for everyone. I once tried on a Yohji Yamamoto suit. Loved the way the jacket fit, but I couldn’t get my feet through the pants, so I’ll never know if my calves would have made it. Size 12 isn’t even an afterthought in Japan. Even slim Jims complain of this shoe issue. I think if you like these pants, you shouldn’t attempt to wear a “break.” The pants should probably not reach the shoe.
