Q: I know that a wide wood hanger is necessary to retain the shape of a jacket, but what is the best suit hanger for pants? The type with a rubberized bar to fold the pants over or the type with a clamp to let the pants hang from the cuffs?

A: I don’t like to clamp my pants. If the bar is too tight, it leaves a line on them. If it’s too loose, they fall to the floor.
