Q: This is in response to your laundry tips on dealing with yellow T-shirt stains in numerous issues. You wrote that these are a result of using an underarm deodorant or antiperspirant that contains aluminum. I stopped using that type, switched to one with tea-tree oil and—voilà!—no stink, no stain.

A: That’s my theory, fella, so I’m glad to hear it’s working for you. I may be old-fashioned, but I think aluminum is much better used on car bodies than on human bodies.
