Out today: Snuff by Chuck Palahniuk. The Fight Club author's ninth novel is unlikely to sate those who find his work a tad on the misogynist side: It's about an aging porn queen who intends to go out with a, well, bang, by having sex with 600 men in one day. (As one does.) The story concerns two of the guys—one who wants her to co-star in a reality show, and another who might be her abandoned son. (Uh, gross.) It's all pretty much par for Palahniuk's course, and we're sure it will make perfect sense in the inevitable film version, when the climactic scenes are accompanied by a Pixies song. Might we suggest "Gigantic?"
