To celebrate Common Projects' arrival at Den, the store has gotten a lily-white makeover (the better to accentuate the footwear). In keeping with the industrial and graphic design backgrounds of the brand's founders, Prathan Poopat and Flavio Girolami, the decor has a factory-of-the-future look—sort of an angelic Metropolis. But the real draw, of course, are the sneakers and dress shoes, including several styles available exclusively at the boutique (in the U.S., at least). Longtime readers won't be surprised to see Den embracing the brand; owner Eddy Chai was rhapsodizing about Common Projects' then-new dress shoes back in our last Buyers' Guide.
