For skater-men, an exhibit of boyhood past

Before there was such a thing as streetwear, there was Stüssy, whose distinctive scrawl and Chanel-swiping crossed-S logo were some of the emblems of skaterdom's eighties moment. To celebrate the brand and its history, Fruition presents a three-month installation called Do You Know What Time It Is? featuring dead-stock items from the fertile years of '87 to '94, all for sale in understandably limited quantities. True to contemporary form, there's a limited-edition collaboration tee, too, but the originals are what's really interesting (displayed alongside period print ads and video). It's not a bad time for a walk down the brand's memory lane: Its longstanding Soho shop closed its doors this month after a decade in business.
$40-$150, available at Fruition, 4139 S. Maryland Pkwy., Las Vegas, (702) 796-4139, fruitionlv.com
