Obama: Marxist?

Pictured: The custom-made Hart Schaffner Marx suit Barack Obama will wear during tomorrow night's acceptance speech. (Evidently, it's an indoor-outdoor number.) So what do you think—is it another cookie-cutter politician suit, or sartorial change you can believe in? Comment below. (Yes, you can.)

i still don't get the big deal with obama and his clothing choices. he dresses no better than a good number of men on the train to nyc every morning.

Yes, but he dresses so much better than 99% of the men in Washington. It will be so nice (God-willing) to have a well-dressed man in the White House.

The man has not always been a sharp dresser. Remember the sack suits he wore this time last year?
Obviously the slim cut and two buttons are modern, but he could afford to lose a little length. If that is the shirt and tie he will wear a wider spread would look nice with that tie in a half windsor knot.

and like it or not, charisma and style have alot to do with not only US public opinion but the ability to sell America's ideas to the international community.
