A first look inside Billy Reid's new Manhattan store

Last time we peeked inside our favorite drinking partner's Bond Street shop, it wasn't quite ready for business. Good news: It is now, and we have the pictures to prove it. See more below.

Seven old staircases were put together to build the New York shop's stairs and railing; the downstairs ceiling is covered in cabinets sourced from a Mississippi schoolhouse.

Reid didn't shoot this deer, but he could have. The designer goes hunting at least a few times each year, though he allows that "I'd hunt more if I could work less." The vintage china, meanwhile, was found by his wife.

These photos aren't as old as they look: Reid took the shots two years ago, using a vintage camera and vintage film.
