Good news, collectors

As expected, this year's edition of Art Basel Miami Beach isn't shaping up to be the cash-flow carnival of years past. But what's bad for the dealers is good for buyers, evidenced by the "recalibrated prices," or so David Lieber, a director at Sperone Westwater, told The Art Newspaper. Case in point? Blue Boyz by Malcolm Morley (pictured), whose price has been slashed by a whopping 50 grand. Whether anyone snaps it up at its new price—$300,000—remains to be seen.
