What Mickey D's and Maison Martin Margiela have in common

Both, evidently, are thriving during the recession. The fast-food chain's success is well documented, and today WWD reports that Margiela's 35 stores around the world had a 10 percent sales increase in January compared with a year ago. Parisians, in particular, can't get enough: The designer's shops there saw a 21 percent increase. No word, however, on the City of Light's McRib intake.
