Dirk Standen was named Editor in Chief of STYLE.COM and MEN.STYLE.COM in September 2005.

Standen had started at CondéNet in 2003 as Deputy Editor, overseeing day-to-day editorial operations on Epicurious.com and Concierge.com. Prior to that, Standen was Editor in Chief of iTurf.com and a Senior Editor at Microsoft's sidewalk.com.

Standen's journalism has appeared in numerous publications, including GQ, Details, Tatler, Food & Wine, and the New York Observer.

He holds an MFA degree from Columbia University and lives in New York City with his wife and son.
