Aesthetes will be pleased to see that the new version follows the original's form-before-function mantra—and that it's 2 millimeters thinner—while techies will appreciate its full HTML browsing and large, vibrating external touch screen, which allows for easy access to music, text messages, and recent calls. Neither, unfortunately, will enjoy the fact that each carrier offers a slightly different version of the basic phone—each flawed in its own way.
