Small doesn't necessarily have to mean flimsy, as this tiny-yet-tough, stainless-steel-encased model proves. Available in any color you want as long as it's silver or black, the W880i is among the thinnest phones on the market to support 3G. Despite the lean profile, it sports a respectable 2.0 megapixel camera and included 1-gig memory stick, though there is a downside to the sleek form factor: Good luck tapping out an international phone number—much less a text message—on its minuscule keyboard. And be warned: With no iTunes compatibility, Sony's Disc2Phone software is every bit as frustrating as you've heard. All of which makes this phone a jack-of-all-trades, master of none—perhaps ideal for users who share that designation.
