Bowers and Wilkins Zeppelin

With its sleek all-black profile, it would be easy to dismiss the Zeppelin as an overpriced design trophy. But, this being B&W, the unit sounds even better than it looks, thanks to four glass-fiber cones with tapered tubes, a 5-inch woofer, three-amp channels, and 100 watts of bass. Some classicists may quibble with the dirigible-inspired shape, but—especially when it's cranked up—the Zeppelin is more LED than Hindenburg.
