Most iPod docks look like they were plucked from an Ikea catalog—not always such a bad thing—and this tabletop system's no exception. A wooden case and a round, blue-lit knob help it stand out from the crowd—as do its two 2-3/4-inch drivers and 5-inch woofer. The Griffin rivals Bose's original SoundDock in terms of size, but with a bassier, slightly less-elegant sound. The downside? A lack of bass and treble control or audio- and-video-out connectivity. But why nitpick when it comes this cheap and looks this good?
