The 1.5-inch LCD screen on this remote won't induce envy among iPhone owners (or, for that matter, owners of the latest Nano), but it does a nice job mimicking the iPod's slick interface. (And besides, it's a remote, not a full-on media player.) As a bonus, the device includes a line out to connect your iPod to your TV, so you can finally watch those iTunes downloads without hunching over a laptop. One caveat: When scrolling through menus, our tester produced a weird, high-pitched squeal—which, frankly, most high-decibel iPod listeners may not even notice.
