Okay, it means "a sound mind in a sound body," but our phrase is more accurate. The Kayano 14's mesh upper lets plenty of air flow to reduce blister-causing sweat and chafing, and the memory-foam collar and soft, moisture-moving liner provide a very comfy fit. The gel-filled foam rubber cushioning is exceptionally forgiving. It'll suit everyone from lightweight, high-arched runners who like a bit of springiness to mid-weight low-arched ones who want some side-to-side structure. As for the aesthetics?
