Merrell Cruise Control

Born in the mountains of Vermont, Merrell's trail gear is known for its durability and comfort (no word yet on its political leanings). The Cruise Control's thick foam cushioning delivers a cushy ride, the quick-cinch lacing system wraps the mesh upper tautly around the foot to prevent chafing, and the leather trim deflects jabs from rocks. It even has drainage channels to siphon water out and away from your foot. Just don't go racing in one—it's intended for long, slow slogs...like the Democratic campaign, for example.
