Forget about mundane conveniences like tumbling seats, backup cameras, and cup holders (not to mention off-road ability): When it's time to put the pedal to the metal on an open stretch of freeway, few beat the Range Rover Sport. (Preferably in black; the Vesuvius Orange is for licensed douchebags only.) The LR2-based model manages to uphold the estate-owning, shotgun-and-Wellies traditions of the British brand while updating its image for a new generation. That's thanks to a chopped roof, low-slung hips, and 20-inch wheels. The available supercharged, 390-hp V-8 doesn't hurt either.
