Mario Strikers Charged

While not necessarily for the guy who DVRs Premier League matches, this surreal soccer sim plays well with ordinary hooligans, especially after sinking a couple of brews. (Not too many, though—the Wii-mote control can make this a serious workout.) Credit the accessible settings, which make it easy to pass, shoot and (unlike in real life) actually score goals, not to mention Nintendo's cartoonish characters—including that red-clad Italian plumber—who are almost as outlandish as a certain British import we could mention.
