Metroid Prime 3: Corruption
Best known for the 1987 game's ending, in which the protagonist Samus reveals that she's, well, a she—in those pre-Tomb Raider days, this was a big deal—this 20-year-old franchise is just now reaching its, er, prime. The new version moves along at a wicked 60 frames per second, making it the Wii's fastest game. Best of all, you use the Wii remote to control Samus's arm, which just happens to be a cannon. The result: A true first-person shooter on par with (and maybe even better than) a certain Xbox trilogy you might have heard of.
