James Bond's preferred sparkling wine (starting with Live and Let Die in 1973) and the equivalent of drinking water for the stars of Absolutely Fabulous, Bolly is more than a story device. Its nonvintage Special Cuvée is one of the most stylistic Champagnes out there—consistently dry, full-bodied, and toasty, reminiscent of chomping into a slice of warm bread that's been slathered with orange marmalade (if a bit wetter). Smooth and oaky, Bollinger is a gutsy, hedonistic drink. The fact that Prince Charles served the stuff at his bachelor party before marrying Diana should not be held against the producer.
