Original Tommy's
Among hard-core burger fans, things can get pretty heated when the old ketchup-versus-mustard debate rears its ugly head. But that's a pointless argument at Tommy's. Here you top your beef with... more beef, in the form of homemade chili. In fact, Tommy's pioneered the chili burger back in 1946, and the innovation has been widely copied, with many imitators even using Tommy's name. You'll know you're at one of the 29 Original locations if you see the red shack in its logo. Although the patties and bun look like typical fast-food fare, the taste is anything but, with the spicy chili contrasting perfectly with the fresh toppings of pickle, chopped onion, and beefsteak tomato.
