Red Mill Burgers
It's hard to imagine a crunchy town like Seattle being a great place for juicy slabs of meat, but the multi-napkin burgers at the popular Red Mill have garnered national media attention. Apart from the beef, what really makes them special are the extras, especially the "Mill Sauce"—a smoky, mayo-based concoction that comes standard on every burger and pairs nicely with the crisp whole-leaf lettuce, juicy tomatoes, and peppery bacon that are carefully balanced on a toasted kaiser-style bun. Those looking for a little kick should try the Verde Burger, which is fire-roasted with Anaheim peppers and adorned with Jack cheese. Those seeking simple meat-and-potatoes fare, however, should probably look elsewhere.
