Perennial long-haul favorite Cathay just keeps getting better. The big news: a much-anticipated renovation by UK-based Design Q, rolling out now. Among the best new features: seats in a herringbone configuration, which means less knee-knocking en route to the aisle as well as increased privacy. Other enhancements include massage-enabled lie-flat chairs, 15-inch TV screens, and ottomans in front of each seat for extra storage. Our favorite touch, however, are the Agnès b–designed amenity kits: Like an in-flight movie, they're different in each direction (Dermalogica going eastbound, Murad for the long flight stateside).
