Belvedere

A few years back, LVMH quietly snapped up a stake in this smoked-glass-bottle standard-bearer, which was originally distilled in a Warsaw suburb (that picture on the bottle's of the namesake Belvedere Palace in the city). Happily, the luxury conglomerate has done nothing to impair the vodka's unique flavor profile. Distilled from Dankowskie Gold, a single variety of rye grown in central Poland, Belvedere boasts a slightly spicy flavor with a hint of cream, a custardy nose, and a tinge of fresh-baked rye bread (though that could be our imagination). Whatever the case, it's worth sipping neat for its complex flavors.
