Like LVMH stable-mate Belvedere, Chopin hales from Poland. Unlike its sibling, which is distilled from Dankowskie Gold rye, Chopin is made from potatoes. Thanks to that more traditional source, the vodka is dominated by herbal, vegetal noteslook for hints of green apple and spearmintwhile its soft finish comes from organically grown Podlasie (say it po-lashee) potatoes. Their unusually high starch content (20 percent, or double the standard spud) ensures a richer, creamier mouthfeel.
