Made in an abandoned air hangar just outside San Francisco (hence the name), this small-batch vodka is defined by its production technique: the blending of two distinct distillations. A core wheat-based spirit is spiced with a splash of a second vodka, which is cooked up from Viognier wine, giving it a rich, smooth flavor. Fruit-phobic purists should risk trying the Kaffir lime and mandarin offshoots, though they happen to be among the best flavored vodkas on the market.
