Much like ever-diversifying Dunhill, penmaker Montblanc (which, despite the French-sounding name, is actually based in Hamburg, Germany) has edged into other areas in recent years. Judging by this elegant watch, that would appear to be a shrewd move. Purists may scoff at shelling out $13,000 for a timepiece from a brand so relatively new to the market, but, based on the craftsmanship—not to mention the gorgeous face design—of this model, it's clear that Montblanc is intent on making watches for the ages.
