It may not look like it, but this is actually a sports watch, and a rather innovative one. The name comes from the way the Reverso's body can be flipped over so that it's facedown, to protect it from damage. The idea came from British polo players in 1930s India (who were clearly too full of gin to realize they could just take their watches off during matches). Nowadays, the feature provides a handy way to wear the watch's heart—visible through the back crystal—on your sleeve during business meetings.
