John Allan's Pomade

As you might expect, tradition-minded John Allan's makes a product your dad would approve of. In the brand's own words, this is pomade and "nothing but." (They're not joking: The better part of its ingredients are good old petroleum jelly and beeswax.) As with most classic examples of the genre, the contents of the flat disk (be careful, it could easily be mistaken for a tin of shoe polish) deliver modest hold and significant shine. Another classic trait: A little goes a long way.
